Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our dealership accounting team as a Deal Poster. This position is responsible for accurately posting all vehicle transactions—including new, used, dealer exchanges, and wholesale deals—into the accounting system in a timely and precise manner. The ideal candidate will have strong computer proficiency, adaptability to various systems, and prior dealership accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately post deals for new vehicles, used vehicles, dealer exchanges, and wholesale transactions.

Ensure that all deal paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant with dealership and manufacturer requirements.

Communicate with the sales and finance departments to resolve any discrepancies in deal documentation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer programs and dealership processes.

Reconcile schedules related to deals and ensure all transactions are posted to the correct accounts.

Assist with month-end closing activities related to vehicle inventory and sales.

Maintain a high level of data integrity and confidentiality.

Requirements:- Prior experience in a dealership accounting office is highly preferred.
- Proficient in dealership software systems, including CDK, VinSolutions, and DealerTrack.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and platforms.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or business is a plus.
