Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting and Billing Associate at our offices at the Shops at Legacy in Plano, TX. Should have 1-3 years of experience and a college degree in accounting or a related field with good organizational, proofreading, bookkeeping, and computer skills. The position involves providing support to the accounting department and reporting to the management of the firm.
The position is responsible for various day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, AR management and collections, and financial reports. Experience in QuickBooks is preferred, along with a sense of urgency to help keep accounting up to date, get bills out promptly, and ensure tasks assigned are completed promptly. Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing calendar deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team and resolve conflicts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Self-starter who takes the initiative and does not hesitate to tackle unfamiliar tasks
