Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Oversee general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Manage and mentor accounting staff across AP, AR, and related functions
- Lead annual financial statement audit and support compliance audits
- Oversee cash management, investments, and treasury activities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Prepare reports and financial analysis for senior leadership and board use
- Drive process improvement, automation, and internal controls enhancement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax filings (federal, state, local)
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
- 5 years of accounting or finance experience
- 3 years in a leadership or management capacity
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit experience
- Background in higher education or nonprofit accounting is a plus
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Hands-on leader with strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
