What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spray Painter position at Carry-On Trailer?
Carry-On Trailer in Coburg, OR is currently accepting applications for the position of spray painter to work on 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday 10 hours per day. The candidate will be responsible for painting trailers to meet quality standards and should have either previous experience in the application of finished coatings or realted training. This position utilizes HVLP paint process.

- Knowledgeable in operation of all equipment required for surface preparation, primer and topcoat applications.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Clean-up work area daily.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required
- Must have the ability to use and read a tape measure
- Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
- Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic.
