JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a Wood Utility Finisher.

Responsible for performing various tasks on a production line in a manufacturing facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Perform installation of plywood floors on Utility trailers.
• Assemble wood components onto utility trailer frames according to company specifications and blueprints.
• Fit wood materials such as decking.
• Use hand tools and power tools to fasten wood components securely.
• Responsible for performing various tasks involving the movement of materials, production line assignments and wood floor installation in a manufacturing facility.
• Follow orders, and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
• Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
• Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Environment is not climate controlled. Limited control of heat and cooling, hot in the summers and cold in the winters.
• Loud industrial environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Walking, standing, kneeling, bending are required up to 90% of the workday
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50-70 pounds, up to 20% of the workday

WORK HOURS:

• This is a full-time position. Work week is Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts. Saturday will be required when production demand requires overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time.
