ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Directs food preparation and collaborates with Executive Chef
Helps in the design of food menu.
Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.
Assists Executive Chef with oversight and supervision of kitchen staff.
Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
Ensures that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition.
Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
Prepares food properly.
Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.
Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
Performs Other Job Duties As Needed And/or As Assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be friendly, driven, and outgoing.
Must possess the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
One (1) Year Of Prior Cook Experience Is Preferred.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Food Handler’s certification valid in Grayson County is required upon hire.
Food Manager’s certification is preferred.
