The Location:
We are located in Hillsborough NC. This is an on-site position.
The Role:
The Seasonal Warehouse Associate will pick, pack, and ship orders/products. Warehouse Associates control the flow of stock through a warehouse, monitoring goods in and out, safely and efficiently moving and handling items and keeping stock records. The Warehouse associate may also be tasked to assist to process received inventory, returns and other general tasks including light assembly of items.
Attendance and punctuality are critical due to our high volumes in the season (April-July). We are counting on you to be here every day that you are scheduled to work.
Essential Duties:
§ Ensure all orders are fulfilled timely and accurately.
§ Ensure incoming goods are received within 24 hours.
§ Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders as required.
§ Cross-trained in multiple areas of the warehouse to support fellow staff when needed. (Cycle Counting, Light Assembly, etc.)
Experience
§ 1 years of shipping and receiving experience
§ Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
§ Forklift certification preferred
High School Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
· Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft products
· High quality standards and strong attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Read and understand written instructions
· Ability to complete simple math
· Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
· Flexibility to work additional hours to meet deadlines
· Follows safety protocols and reports problems to mitigate risks
· Moves inventory weighing up to 50 pounds
· Repeatedly bends, lifts, and reaches to access products
· Moves across warehouse floor for extended periods to fulfill orders
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
