Carroll Motor Fuels is hiring Customer Service Representatives to join the Commercial Sales team of a growing regional fuel distributor. Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management
- Answer a high volume of calls with a proprietary network to answer questions while offering excellent customer service.
- Maintain detailed records of outgoing and incoming calls as well as follow-up information and outcomes.
- Respond to customer service issues, concerns or complaints with the program and seek to expedite resolution of a problem.
- Accurately document the customer's contact information including phone number, email address and other essential account development information, verify the system is correct and make changes as necessary.
- Persuasively engage the customer in conversation to understand their needs, ask relevant leading questions to understand the customer's needs.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, credit, and wholesale operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment, and pleasurable customer experience.
- Print and/or change delivery tickets to reflect current needs, address any changes with the customer and management.
- Account maintenance and data entry.
- Knowledge of products, invoicing and manual entry of customer data.
- Dispatch support for the customer’s request.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with sales techniques such as upselling and cross-selling.
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and objectives.
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Professional experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software for sending and receiving online forms to open and set up accounts is a plus.
- Speed and accuracy in data entry using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
