The Environmental Services Technician at CCMH Corporation plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our healthcare facilities. This position is essential in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our patients, staff, and visitors, contributing to the overall health services we provide.

 

Hourly Full-Time Role:
Starting at $16/hr 
Monday through Friday 3p-11:30p. Rotating weekends and holidays required.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Clean and disinfect offices, surgical rooms, and clinical areas to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Ensure compliance with established cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
• Handle exposure to biohazardous materials and bodily fluids with appropriate safety measures.
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision, demonstrating reliability and efficiency in task completion.
• Maintain comfort and professionalism while working within a hospital environment, understanding the critical nature of the role in patient care and facility operations.
  
   

The Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in a healthcare setting. (preferred)
• Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation procedures specific to medical facilities. (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sterile and hygienic setting. (required)
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and patients when necessary.
