Job Summary: The Office of the President is seeking a student to help with the daily requirements for administering Carroll College business.
Projects will include file organizing, managing correspondence, tracking and compiling news stories and events, and handling logistics for events. Additional responsibilities and opportunities can be added as the student familiarizes himself or herself with the operations of the office.
Candidates should be highly organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented with problem-solving skills and strong communication. Since the office interacts with various members of the public and the Carroll community, a friendly and professional demeanor is required. Candidates will be working closely with the executive assistant to the president, who supports both the president and the board of trustees. This role has flexible hours and will work around schedules.
Employment Specifications: Work-Study preferred, but not required.
Approximate Hours/Week: 10 to 15 hours per week
Special Time/Schedule Requirements: Flexible - between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday
Length of Employment: Academic Year
Wage Rate: $12.50/hour
