Description: Carroll College invites applications for a one year, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry position beginning in August 2025 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Applicants with backgrounds in: Physical, Physical Organic, or Organic Chemistry are encouraged to apply.
The position will carry a teaching load of 12 to 15 contact hours per semester.
Teaching assignments will be dependent upon candidate expertise and interest, but may include the lecture and laboratory components of the first-year chemistry sequence (major and non-major sections), physical chemistry lecture, and the laboratory component of organic chemistry.
Qualifications
The position is open to all individuals with a M.S. in Chemistry or a related discipline, but preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and teaching experience in the specified areas.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
