What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Employment – CAMP Gear Room Assistant position at Carroll College?
Applicant must be a current Carroll College student enrolled in at least 6 credits to be eligible to apply.
Department: Hunthausen Activity Center
Duties and Responsibilities: Help manage Carroll College’s outdoor gear rental program. Responsibilities include checking gear in and out, inspecting and maintaining equipment, organizing the gear room, and making basic repairs to outdoor equipment.
Qualifications: Strong Outdoor enthusiast with hands-on experience using and maintaining camping, climbing, backpacking, rafting, or biking equipment. Bike mechanic experience is especially desirable. Must be comfortable learning new equipment and performing basic repairs.
Employment Specifications: Work-Study preferred, but not required.
Approximate Hours/Week: 2 - 4 hours per week
Special Time/Schedule Requirements: Flexible, but mostly evenings
Length of Employment: Academic Year
Wage Rate: $12.00/hour
