What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Carroll College?
Description: Carroll College is seeking a full-time Custodian. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, ambitious, reliable, and detail oriented. This person will perform cleaning tasks on campus. This position is also considered a general maintenance worker and is required to assist in performing preventive maintenance on non-electrical equipment and building infrastructures and assist in snow removal, moving of miscellaneous items on campus and assists other craftsmen in all phases of maintenance.
A $500 Retention Bonus will be given after the employee successfully completes 6 months of employment in the Facilities department. A second $500 Retention Bonus will be given after the employee successfully completes one full year of employment in the Facilities department.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have High School diploma or equivalent GED and some experience in custodial work. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
