Description: Carroll College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Education to begin in August 2026.
Major responsibilities include teaching, advising, supervising students in teacher education programs, providing service, and engaging in appropriate scholarly activities. Specific teaching assignments will depend on qualifications but may include undergraduate courses in introductory education, elementary content areas and teaching methods in elementary and secondary settings. Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an earned doctoral degree in Education or a related field (ABD considered). The successful candidate will be an education generalist who has a minimum of three years of demonstrated excellence in teaching and possesses the ability to work collaboratively with K-12 school personnel. Additional teaching experience in STEM and/or social studies is desirable, but not required.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
