In this role, you will provide personalized nursing care in your assigned area, supporting both independent and team-based functions under the Director of Care.

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse Team Lead to join our Lifestyle Options - Whitemud team on a temporary full-time basis. This position is expected to conclude on February 15, 2027. In this role, you will provide personalized nursing care in your assigned area, supporting both independent and team-based functions under the Director of Care.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and supervise the nursing department, ensuring quality care and team coordination.
- Implement and uphold company policies in collaboration with the Director of Care.
- Oversee client service plans, staff assignments, and delegated nursing tasks.
- Support client transitions, including move-ins and move-outs for DSL, Home Care, and independent living.
- Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and external agencies.
- Maintain inventory and supplies, including placing orders as needed.
- Active registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA).
- Current CPR, First Aid and BLS certification (required).
- Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience in seniors assisted living (preferred).
- Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills are considered assets.
- Demonstrates person-centered care and respects resident and family input.
- Excels in time management, multitasking, and independent decision-making.
- Communicates effectively with strong interpersonal and English language skills.
