Position Overview:


As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of executive operations, with a particular focus on the telecommunications and asset recovery domains. This position requires a candidate with exceptional organizational skills, an understanding of the telecom industry, and the ability to handle sensitive information related to asset recovery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Telecom Industry Insight: Stay informed about the latest trends, developments, and challenges in the telecommunications sector to assist the CEO in making informed decisions.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is typically preferred. A master's degree or equivalent experience a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an executive assistant or similar role is usually required. Experience supporting C-suite executives or high-level management is highly desirable.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines is essential. The assistant must keep the CEO's schedule organized and ensure that meetings and appointments are arranged efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for drafting correspondence, emails, reports, and other communications on behalf of the CEO. The assistant must also have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality: The assistant must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information and discussions involving the CEO and the company.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to anticipate potential issues, identify solutions, and make decisions independently is crucial. The assistant should be resourceful and proactive in resolving challenges that arise in the course of their duties.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in office productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email management tools, and calendar software is essential. Familiarity with project management tools and other relevant software may also be beneficial.
  • Adaptability: The assistant should be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs. They should be able to work effectively under pressure and remain calm in fast-paced environments.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for tasks such as proofreading documents, managing financial records, and scheduling appointments. Mistakes in these areas can have significant consequences for the CEO and the organization.
  • Professionalism: The assistant must maintain a professional demeanor at all times and represent the CEO and the company in a positive light. This includes dressing appropriately, exercising good judgment, and behaving courteously in all interactions.
  • Leadership Skills: While the assistant may not have direct reports, leadership qualities such as initiative, accountability, and the ability to take charge of projects or initiatives independently are valuable.

Qualifications you need to have:


  • Advanced-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Internet and technology savvy; must be capable of quickly learning and utilizing multiple databases and websites and performing online research.

  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing, record keeping, e-mail, & management of documents and records.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to multitask and adjust to changing schedules and priorities with ease.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week.
