We're seeking an Event Catering Manager to be a part of our team. Your Qualifications:
- Event and Catering Experience: Bring 3 years of hands-on planning and onsite execution of catered events.
- Organizational Wizardry: Thrive in fast-paced environments, juggle competing priorities, and deliver results with attention to detail.
- Effective Communication: Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, and team members and demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility: Available weekends and evenings as needed to execute events at venues across the Bay Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Experience Champion: Work in partnership with our clients, serve as their primary point of contact, and demonstrate understanding of their needs to deliver exceptional event experiences.
- Adept Event Planning: Lead client meetings, offering expert guidance on menus, venues, staffing, and décor. Manage aspects of event planning from food and beverage selections to vendor relations to onsite execution.
- Onsite Excellence: Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown, orchestrating smooth execution while actively communicating with our staff, clients, and vendors in a clear and positive manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas of improvement and ensure consistent delivery of excellence.
