Key Responsibilities:
Assess resident interests and abilities to plan appropriate activities
Facilitate daily programs that encourage social interaction, communication, and well-being
Coordinate events with volunteers, families, and community groups
Plan and lead special events, crafts, entertainment, games, and more
Maintain a cheerful environment through decorating and seasonal displays
Motivate residents to participate and stay engaged
Supervise activity programs and provide extra support where needed
Ensure the activity area remains organized and welcoming
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with crafts, games, and group facilitation
Previous activities director experience preferred
