Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automotive Title Clerk/ AP / AR Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage the accurate processing and maintenance of vehicle titles, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Your expertise will streamline the title transfer process, support legal documentation requirements, and enhance customer satisfaction through efficient service. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process vehicle titles, registrations, and related legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct thorough research using various databases to verify vehicle ownership and lien information
- Collaborate with financial institutions and IN BMV/Ky County Clerk Offices and other state regulations to ensure compliance with state law as it pertains to vehicle titles and liens
- Maintain detailed records of all title transactions, ensuring proper documentation for audit purposes
- Assist customers by providing clear guidance on title processing procedures and resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate seamless title transfers and registrations
- Stay updated on changing regulations related to vehicle titles, registrations, and legal requirements
- Process paperwork on all Customer deals to ensure all monies, trade titles, legal documents, etc. are collected in a timely manner.
- Process Accounts Payable, issue payments to vendors and reconcile statements.
- Process Accounts Receivables.
Skills
- Strong understanding of vehicle titles and liens is desired but not required.
- Proficient research skills to process paperwork.
- Experience in title processing, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting legal documents accurately is desired but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally and courteously
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast paced office environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain meticulous records
