Essential Functions:
- Provide strategic oversight and day-to-day management of the Client Services department.
- Supervise and support Client Services Supervisors and their teams, ensuring alignment with firm goals and client expectations.
- Develop and implement department-wide policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences.
- Monitor workload distribution, performance metrics, and deadlines across the department, adjusting resources as needed.
- Collaborate with tax partners, accountants, and operations teams to streamline client onboarding, document flow, and communication.
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, technology adoption, and client satisfaction.
- Resolve escalated client issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to foster growth and accountability.
- Participate in hiring, training, and development of Client Services staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned to support firm operations and leadership initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (4-year) required.
- 5 years of experience in client services, administrative operations, or tax support roles.
- 3 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a CPA firm or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with clients and staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work overtime January through April and during other peak seasons
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
