Position Overview
As a Production Operator on our Assembly Team, you will play a key role in assembling and packaging parts and components. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone interested in manufacturing and learning new things.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of a variety of parts and components, using different tools.
- Use light machinery to bag and label parts and components or etch parts.
- Work as part of a team; following directions. Interpret work instructions, follow blueprints. Check part functionality when needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Communication skills
- Ability to follow directions, strong time management.
Preferred:
- Basic technical knowledge of the equipment, tools and the assembly process
- Able to work well independently or as part of a team
- Ability to read, write and understand English
Physical Requirements
Required:
- Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Picking, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motions
- Manual dexterity
- Close visual acuity
- Subject to noise, hazards, and oils. Lift up to 35 lbs
