Position Overview
As a Saw Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by accurately cutting raw materials to specification, ensuring efficiency, quality, and workflow consistency. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about manufacturing, hands-on work, and building foundational skills in a production environment while contributing to a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate band saws, circular saws, and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine cutting requirements
- Measure and mark materials using tape measures, rulers, and gauges to ensure precision
- Inspect raw materials and finished cuts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Load and unload materials into cutting equipment and assist with material handling
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
Preferred:
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experience
- Familiarity with saws or cutting equipment
- Mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements
Required:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks typical of a machining environment
- Close visual acuity for precision measurement and inspection
- Ability to work in an environment with machining noise, oils, and industrial hazards
