Key Responsibilities
- Welding & Fabrication: Weld steel components using MIG (and other processes as needed) based on drawings and shop instructions.
- Quality Work: Produce clean, strong welds and meet production and quality standards.
- Read Plans: Understand basic shop drawings, measurements, and layout marks.
- Fit-Up & Assembly: Assist with fitting, tacking, grinding, and assembling parts when needed.
- Safety First: Follow shop safety rules, use PPE, and keep your work area clean and organized.
- Team Communication: Work closely with supervisors and teammates to hit daily production goals.
