About the Role
Crowne Plaza Warwick is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Engineer to lead the maintenance operations of our 350,000-square-foot hotel. This is a high-impact, visible leadership position responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning, safety, and aesthetics of our property, including all facilities and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel maintenance, including building infrastructure, mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool operations, kitchen systems, and emergency equipment.
- Manage, train, and supervise a team of skilled maintenance professionals.
- Ensure preventative maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Partner with hotel leadership to support guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in a leadership role within a maintenance department of a large facility.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, cooling towers, and boiler maintenance.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage large-scale facilities operations.
