What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring Sales Specialist position at Carpetland USA?
Carpetland USA is seeking Design Consultants/Sales Members to join their growing team! A successful Consultant will have excellent customer services skills, have the ability to effectively communicate and show strong salesmanship and relationship building skills. Previous experience in flooring is a plus. There is no limit to your income potential in this role!
Duties of the Design Consultant:
- Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner when they enter the store
- Assist customers with product selection, utilizing skills in home décor and design
- Schedule measurements and installation and troubleshoot issues if they arise between the customer and installer
- Assist in the collection of accounts receivables and management of account balances
- All other job duties as assigned by upper management
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Previous commissioned sales experience is a plus!
- Creative problem solving and strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid Drivers License
Physical Environment:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Standing and walking often
- Occasional bending and stooping
