Carpenters Local Union 665 seeks candidates to work for our signatory contractors. Apprentice level candidates will enroll in a tuition-free Department of Labor accredited apprenticeship program and receive on-the-job training. Contractor-paid benefits include: health and dental insurance, and pension contributions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform tasks involving physical labor on construction projects, including the following (no experience necessary: We Train You!):
-Safety and Protection
-Layout
-Interior Framing
-Cold Form Metal Framing
-Gypsum Board Installation
-Door, Frame and Hardware Installation
-Bathroom Partitions
-Acoustical Ceiling Installation
-Millwork installation
-Site Cleanup
-May perform other duties as required
