Plumber Apprentice
Scottco Mechanical is looking for motivated candidates who are ready to begin a career in the plumbing industry and grow with our team.
As a Plumber Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced plumbers while learning the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to become a Journeyman Plumber. As you gain experience, you may begin completing certain tasks independently or with limited supervision.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with identifying and locating leaks
- Helping repair or replace plumbing parts
- Determining the correct tools and materials needed for each job
- Learning proper plumbing procedures and safety practices
- Completing additional tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Physical strength and dexterity
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- At least 18 years old
