Bergen Pipe Supports are currently hiring a full-time Quality Control Inspector Level II to work out of one of our offices in Donora, PA The Quality Control Inspector Level II inspects products and materials for defects or deviations from manufacturers or industry specifications and standards. Plan and set-up inspections. Evaluate the adequacy of inspection programs and procedures. Provide training and instruction to lower-level personnel.
Essential Duties:
- Read and understand blueprints and specifications.
- Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the process or assembly to ensure compliance.
- Inspect materials or products being produced.
- Accept or reject finished items or those in process.
- Remove and segregate all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
- Compile and report inspection results and data.
- Generate inspection & test plans based upon customer specifications.
- Provide quality assurance related training and instructions.
Days/Shift:
- Monday thru Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior production and/or quality experience in a manufacturing environment, welding environment preferred.
- Must be observant and pay close attention to detail.
- Takes a logical, methodical approach to work.
- Experienced using measuring and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills in data management and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
