Day in the Life:
Join our team and make a tangible impact in our region! As a crucial team member, this senior-level role will oversee the execution of complex survey projects and lead a field operations crew. Responsibilities include resolving technical challenges, ensuring data integrity, high quality assurance standards, mentoring survey staff, and coordinating with project managers and clients to ensure successful project delivery. The position will require daily travel to project locations in company vehicles and may require extended overnight travel. Fieldwork will occur in all seasons of the year, cold and wet weather included.
Our collaborative, open office environment allows you to work with colleagues across multiple disciplines to provide the highest quality plans, studies, and customer service. We utilize the most current technologies, including LiDAR, GPS, robotic total stations, and drone/UAS surveying. In this role, you will use advanced survey principles and knowledge of applicable codes, safety requirements, and standards to review technical reports and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of relevant professional surveying experience
- Valid state issued driver’s license and appropriate insurance
- Strong background in mathematics
- Ability to comfortably jump between concurrent tasks
- Thrive in a team environment
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented
- Advanced knowledge of survey equipment (total stations, GPS, automatic levels, CADD software)
- Ability to transfer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, either assisted or unassisted
- Understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities
Salary Range: $72,000-$85,000
