About the Role
We are looking for a FP&A Manager to serve as the financial backbone of our planning and analysis function. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, the Manager title reflects the seniority and ownership expected, not a people management scope. Reporting directly to the CFO and working in close partnership with the Controller, you will own the company's budgeting process, cash flow forecasting, financial modeling, and other external reporting.
The right candidate brings strong FP&A fundamentals, thrives in a PE-backed environment where accuracy and speed both matter, and can operate with a high degree of autonomy. Familiarity within a DTC ecommerce business is a plus, but we will prioritize FP&A experience over industry experience.
What You'll Do
• Own the annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes end to end; building models, coordinating inputs from department heads, and presenting outputs to the CFO and Executive team.
• Maintain and continuously improve the company's cash flow forecasting model, providing weekly and monthly visibility into liquidity and working capital.
• Advanced Excel proficiency. You build and maintain financial models that drive strategic decisions, scenario planning, and growth initiatives.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare lender and investor reporting, including covenant tracking, compliance certificates, and ad hoc requests from PE sponsors.
• Partner closely with the Controller to ensure alignment between the accounting close and FP&A deliverables.
• Develop variance analyses that explain performance versus budget and prior periods, not just the what, but the why.
• Serve as a financial thought partner to the CFO, identifying trends, flagging risks, and surfacing opportunities in the data.
• Assist in preparing materials for board meetings and other senior-level communications.
• Support due diligence processes, refinancings, or other transactions as they arise in a PE-backed environment.
What We're Looking For
• 3-7 years of progressive FP&A experience, with a track record of owning core planning and reporting processes.
• Experience in a PE-backed company. You understand the reporting cadence, sponsor expectations, and the level of rigor required.
• Strong financial modeling skills; you build clean, auditable models that others can follow.
• Ability to prepare and review complete financial statements and management reports with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail; you catch errors before they leave your desk, and you understand what the numbers are saying, not just what they show.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leadership, including PE sponsors, lenders, and the C-suite.
• Strong communicator. You can translate complex financial information into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience in DTC ecommerce or consumer businesses is a plus, not a requirement.
• Familiarity with a BI tool (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.

Candidates who have sat in a similar seat at a PE-backed company, where they personally owned the budget, the forecast, and the lender package, will stand out. We're not looking for someone who contributed to these processes as part of a large team; we're looking for someone who has run them. If you've been through a recapitalization, add-on acquisition, or sale process in an FP&A capacity, that experience is highly valued.
