What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgery Scheduler position at Carolina Urology Partners?
Carolina Urology Partners, PLLC is a large, comprehensive urology group in the Carolinas. We have 27 physicians, more than 150 employees, and 10 urology clinics in convenient locations throughout the Carolinas.
We are currently seeking a Surgery Scheduler for our office in Mooresville, NC. This position will be responsible for assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under Physician direction.
Responsibilities
- Schedule surgical procedures in office and hospital setting
- Authorize and provide patients with coverage information regarding specific surgical procedure.
- Coordinate all necessary preoperative appointments and clearances as necessary
- Schedule patients for in office post operative visits.
Skills
- Prior experience as a surgical scheduler
- Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in EMR system
**Pay rate is negotiable based on experience**
