Carolina Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team. What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services, including evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages
- Perform thorough physical exams and develop effective treatment plans, including prescribing medications when appropriate
- Deliver efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining strong patient satisfaction
- Perform common urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, joint injections, incision & drainage, and wound care
- Coordinate care by facilitating referrals and ensuring smooth transitions to specialists or higher levels of care when needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation in the EMR
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (active and in good standing)
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine preferred
- Proficiency in minor procedures and point-of-care decision making
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stay organized and efficient in a high-volume setting
