This is a full-time on-site position located in Wilson, NC. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with anesthesiologists in providing comprehensive patient care in perioperative settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, assisting in anesthesia procedures, monitoring patient progress, and managing pain treatments. The role also requires contributing to patient education, maintaining compliance with medical protocols, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care.
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessments, anesthesia care, and procedural support
- Proficiency in monitoring patient conditions and managing pain treatments
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams effectively
- Familiarity with perioperative care, compliance regulations, and safety protocols
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in anesthesiology or perioperative care is a plus but not required
