WHAT WE NEED FROM A FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST -INSURANCE BILLER:

• 5 years of customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to be on your feet and active during your shift
• Ability to use/learn the office billing software, EHR, clearinghouse, insurance portals, phone system, and internal communication tools
• Dependable, organized, accurate, professional, and comfortable working with billing details
• Team player who thrives in a structured yet caring environment
• Outgoing, empathetic, and detail-oriented personality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Billing and insurance experience
• Experience in a chiropractic, medical, or dental office
• Previous billing, insurance, chiropractic, healthcare, administrative, or EHR experience

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As a Front Desk Receptionist - Insurance Biller, you will help shape every patient's experience by serving as both a welcoming front-office professional and a key member of the billing team. You will greet and assist patients, coordinate appointment schedules, respond to calls, texts, and emails, and ensure each patient understands their next scheduled visit. You will verify insurance coverage, prepare and submit claims, post payments, follow up on denials, review patient balances, maintain accurate records, and communicate with insurance companies regarding billing matters. You will monitor appointment compliance, reconnect with patients who miss visits, support documentation tracking, and work closely with providers and teammates to keep office operations organized, efficient, and patient-focused. Through your professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail, you will help create a seamless experience that supports both patient satisfaction and practice success.
