Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to urgent care
- Perform common procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and wound care
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe appropriate medications and provide patient education
- Document encounters accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations and patient satisfaction
Schedule
- Full-time (3 x 12-hour shifts per week)
- Rotating weekends
- No on-call requirements
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $55–$70/hour ( $103K–$131K/year), depending on experience and clinic location.

Qualifications
- Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina
- Active DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
- DOT certification a plus
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient service skills
- Required: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification
