Sales & Account Support Specialist

Carolina PRG has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization in the greater Charlotte area to identify a Sales & Account Support Specialist. This role will support business growth through customer engagement, order management, and aftermarket sales support in a fast-paced environment.

This position will focus on managing customer relationships, supporting inbound and outbound sales activity, and ensuring a high level of service across existing and prospective clients. The role works closely with internal teams to support order processing, customer account maintenance, and ongoing business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound and follow-up calls to support business development and customer engagement
• Manage inbound inquiries, providing product information and resolving customer needs
• Enter and process orders within SAP or ERP system
• Maintain and update customer records within CRM systems
• Support B2B sales efforts by identifying customer needs and coordinating solutions
• Assist with sales and marketing initiatives as needed
• Perform administrative functions related to customer accounts and order management
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
• Develop a working knowledge of products to support customer conversations and order accuracy

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or order management within a manufacturing or B2B environment
• Automotive industry knowledge is required
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) preferred
• Ability to manage both inbound and outbound customer interactions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Associate degree preferred
