**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Plumber. This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead projects and your own crew with a fast growing company in the plumbing industry. There will be a written exam to pass and a paid working interview.
Duties Include:
- Must be familiar with NC plumbing codes
- Design, Layout and install plumbing system to meet code
- Lead your own crew with various tasks on construction sites
- Handle and maintain tools and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints or shop drawings
- knowledge of plumbing fittings and how to use them to meet code
- Assist with construction estimating and material preparation
- Provide field service support as needed
- provide daily job summary
- Must have vehicle and cell phone.
- Pay depends on experience
- We work within a 2 hour radius of Wilmington. Some overnights may be required
**Qualifications:**
- New construction Plumbing experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints is a must
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques is beneficial
- Proficiency in using hand tools effectively
- Knowledge of construction estimating principles is a bonus
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot plumbing systems
- Complete knowledge and understanding of NC codes
- Ability to lead and instruct individuals on your team
- Must have own hand tools
- Drivers License a must
- 5-7 years experience as Top Mechanic or better
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
