Plumber

OSS Contracting is seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential homes while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

This position requires a professional who can diagnose plumbing issues, perform quality repairs, and communicate clearly with homeowners.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems including water lines, drain lines, and fixtures
• Install and replace plumbing fixtures such as toilets, faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, and water heaters
• Perform plumbing system troubleshooting and leak detection
• Install and service tank and tankless water heaters
• Perform drain cleaning and clearing of clogged lines
• Read and interpret basic plumbing diagrams and plans
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and professional job site in customers' homes
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work being performed and recommended repairs
• Document service calls and completed work accurately
• Maintain and organize company vehicle, tools, and equipment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a residential plumber or plumbing technician
• Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and components
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently
• Experience installing water heaters, fixtures, and piping systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or crawlspaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
