The "Billable" Difference Yes, you will still track your time. However, this firm has no strict billable hour requirements and zero crushing quotas. Instead, they treat their attorneys like adults. You are trusted to do great work for your clients, hit your deadlines, and go home.

The Practice The docket is busy, fast-paced, and diverse. Specifically, you will defend state agencies, local counties, and sheriff's departments, alongside traditional insurance defense files involving premises liability and auto accidents.

What You Will Do:

• Take the lead: Manage cases from initial pleadings through discovery and trial preparation.
• Command the room: Take and defend depositions confidently. (Note: hands-on deposition experience is an absolute must for this role).
• Advocate: Argue motions, attend mediations, and develop winning strategies directly with your clients.

What You Bring:

• Solid civil litigation experience (defense experience is highly preferred).
• A practical, client-first mindset.
• Strong legal writing skills and natural courtroom composure.

The Compensation & Perks:

• Target Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience. (Candidates seeking above this range will be considered if they bring a portable book of business).
