Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Truck Collision Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, repairing, and restoring commercial trucks to pre-accident condition. This role requires expertise in bodywork, frame repair, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess damaged commercial trucks to determine repair needs.
- Perform collision repairs, including bodywork, paint prep, mechanical, and fabrication.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment for repairs, including welders, hydraulic jacks, plasma cutters, and oxy/fuel cutting tools.
- Ensure all repairs are completed to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair progress and any additional work required.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in collision repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in collision repair is a plus.
- Proven experience as a collision technician, preferably with commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency in using collision repair tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of vehicle structure and repair processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
