About The Farm
At Split Acre Farm, we grow a diversified selection of seasonal vegetables, cut flowers, and perennial crops. We grow year round in our high tunnels, caterpillar tunnels, and greenhouse. Although we are not organic certified we do use only OMRI approved materials and organic practices. Our farm is conveniently located 20 minutes north of downtown Durham.
Job Description
We are looking to add 1-2 crew members to our team. Full-time or part-time available. Hired individuals will be expected to participate in all aspects of the farm including but limited to seeding, planting, trellising, weeding, harvest, wash pack, and other farm tasks. Work days begin at 7am and end at 3pm. To begin immediately through the fall. Potential winter hours available to the right candidate.

Qualifications
- Farming and/or manual labor experience highly valuable.
- Ability to work in all types of weather including heat and rain
- Maintain steady pace and positive attitude in challenging weather
- Able to stand for long periods of time while sustaining a consistent work rate
- Can lift 50lbs
- Good attention to detail
