Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Patient Service Representative to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently upon arrival
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our electronic health records system
- Verify patient insurance information and update records accordingly
- Collect patient co-pays and process payments accurately
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Support clinical staff with basic administrative duties to ensure seamless workflow
Experience
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous
- Experience with medical administrative support and office procedures is desirable
- Office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills is beneficial
- Familiarity with dental office operations is a plus
