What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dump Truck Driver position at Carolina EarthWerx?
Position Overview:
We are hiring Full - Time Dump Truck Drivers with a CDL B minimum, CDL A preferred. Candidates must have experience operating tandem and tri - axle dump trucks,hauling materials ( dirt, rock, aggregates), hauling equipment using lowboys or tag trailers. Manual transmission endorsement is strongly preferred.
- This role includes Material hauling, equipment hauling, loading and unloading. working on active construction and site development projects. Must be reliable, safety- focused and able to represent the company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tandem and tri - axle dump trucks safely and efficiently.
- Haul dirt, fill, aggregates, stone and other construction material.
- load and unload equipment using a tag trailer or lowboy preferred.
- Maintain accurate haul logs, tickets, and delivery documentation.
- Perform daily truck inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Communicate with dispatch, site superintendents, project managers.
- Uphold safety standards and DOT compliance at all times.
- Represent Carolina EarthWerx with great customer service and professionalism.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- CDL B Required / CDL A Require.
- Manual transmission experience required.
- 1 years experience with Dump trucks ( tandem/ tri- axle).
- Equipment hauling experience ( excavators, skid steers, dozers).
- Ability to load and secure loads properly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Must show up on time and ready to go.
- Able to thrive in a fast moving, team oriented work environment.
