What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Commercial Door Installer / Service Tech position at Carolina Door Specialties, Inc?
We are a Local Garage Door Company in Charlotte in search of a Lead Door and Dock Equipment Service Tech / Installer. Experience in the industry is required. The position is for a Commercial Door Focused Truck, but some residential work will be done as well. We have been in business for over 70 years and pay fair wages with benefits. We provide service for Overhead style doors and Dock Equipment as well as new installation of equipment. We are looking for leaders and team players. We are a family run operation with reasonable hours, no out of town traveling, and healthcare benefits.
Job Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Experience in service and installation of sectional and rolling steel doors and dock equipment
- Welding experience and competency
- Able to lift heavy objects - 75 lbs
- Valid Drivers License with clean driving record
- Pass a drug test and randoms throughout year
- Go through Safety Program training and perform work in Industrial Environments
- Work off Ladders and elevated platforms - must be OK with heights
- Experience with forklifts and aerial lifts
