What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Medical Receptionist position at Carolina Dermatology and Endocrinology?
Front Desk Medical Receptionist needed for busy dermatology/endocrinology practice. The ideal candidate will have a calm, caring and pleasant personality and be able to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 2 years current front desk work experience in a medical practice is required. Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Allscripts experience a plus. Positive attitude, punctuality and dependability a must!
Job Summary:
· Greet patients and visitors with professional demeanor
· Patient check-in and check-out duties
· Collect co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles
· Answer incoming calls
· Schedule and make changes to patient appointments
· Obtain and accurately enter and/or update patient demographic information
· Verify insurance eligibility
· Patient referrals
