Girls Academy Coach
Position Overview
A CCFC Girls Academy Coach is responsible for leading one or two Girls Academy teams within the Girls Academy platform. This role focuses on delivering high-quality training sessions, fostering a competitive and positive team culture, and supporting the long-term development and college aspirations of players.
The Coach reports directly to the Girls Academy Director and plays a key role in upholding the club’s standards, philosophy, and league compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
Player Development:
- Plan and execute structured, age-appropriate training sessions
- Implement the club’s curriculum and style of play across one or two assigned teams
- Prepare and manage all matches, including league, showcases, and events
- Conduct player evaluations and provide consistent development feedback
- Support and track individual development plans (IDPs)
Team Management:
- Foster a competitive, disciplined, and player-centered team culture
- Communicate clearly and professionally with players and families
- Manage team rosters, attendance, and travel logistics
- Ensure compliance with league standards and roster requirements
League & Showcase Participation:
- Attend all required league games and Girls Academy events
- Support players during showcase and recruiting opportunities
- Maintain professional conduct at all league functions
College Recruitment Support:
- Assist players in navigating the college recruitment process
- Communicate with college coaches when appropriate
- Provide recommendations and development feedback to support recruitment
Staff Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the Girls Academy Director and fellow coaches
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions
- Align with CCFC player development standards
Qualifications:
- Girls Academy Top Tier: USSF C License minimum (B License preferred)
- GA Aspire: USSF D License minimum (C License preferred)
- 3 years of competitive youth coaching experience
- Experience coaching elite-level girls soccer preferred
- Strong understanding of player development principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Availability for evening training sessions and weekend travel
Preferred:
- Collegiate playing or coaching experience
- Experience within GA, ECNL, MLS NEXT, or similar elite platforms

Compensation
Compensation commensurate with experience and number of teams assigned. Travel expenses and continuing education support may be provided.
