We are looking for a precision-focused Grading Loader Operator to join our site prep and earthmoving team. In this role, you won’t just be moving dirt—you’ll be responsible for achieving accurate rough to ensure projects are built on a solid and level foundation. Key Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loaders to spread, level, and grade soil, aggregate, and base materials.
- Perform finish grading for building pads, parking lots, and roadways according to blueprints.
- Load trucks and manage onsite stockpiles to maintain efficient workflow.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and minor maintenance (greasing/fluid checks).
- Coordinate movement with dozers, rollers, and grade checkers to ensure site efficiency.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-incident job site.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience operating loaders in a grading or civil construction environment.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency in reading grade stakes and understanding blueprints/site plans.
- Execution: Ability to achieve finish grade with minimal supervision.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and a valid driver's license.
- Teamwork: A positive attitude and willingness to jump out of the cab to assist the crew when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license: (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, dust, cold).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on/off heavy machinery safely.
- Stamina to work long shifts and Saturdays as project schedules require.
