Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Safety Manager based in Ladson, SC. The Safety Manager will oversee occupational health and safety programs, conduct safety training sessions, and ensure compliance with regulatory safety standards. Key responsibilities include performing risk assessments, investigating workplace incidents, leading Environment Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives, and promoting an overall culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Industrial Safety protocols
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs
- Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management
- Competence in Accident Investigation processes and procedures
- Understanding of regulatory compliance related to workplace health and safety
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with team members across departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications, such as OSHA or CSP, are a strong advantage
