Our Opportunity: Utility Sanitarian
Status: Full Time
Hours: 8-hour shift - 7a-3p
Schedule: Monday - Friday Shift
Summary:
Responsible for industrial sanitation throughout the plant to ensure food safety compliance and maintain hygienic standards. Additional support for Internal Audit corrections and PM Day cleaning activities.
What You Will Be Doing
· Review and address all internal audit cleanliness findings for each area. Report when areas have been addressed for verification activities of the completed tasks
· Help manage Downtime Sanitation checklist and report daily on progress
· Coordinate with sanitation team and plan daily activities to maintain the master sanitation schedule
· Coordinate with Production team to address and maintain the daily line sanitation condition
· Perform training with production staff on proper cleaning methods
· Perform Master Sanitation activities according to the defined tasks and frequencies of each area
- Inspect and clean all common areas, framework, production areas, material staging, and the hold area
- Inspect and clean the RO areas
- Clean and foam all floor drains as defined by the master sanitation schedule
- Stock and inventory all housekeeping supplies and prepare sanitation carts
- Operate floor scrubber equipment for the main plant
- Inspect and clean the central dosing area (equipment storage, chemical cage, and associated overhead area)
- Perform interior and exterior de-webbing of the main plant and monitor the condition of the offsite warehouses
- Stock and inventory the chemical storage cabinets in the housekeeping cage and on the production lines
- Perform interior perimeter (White Line’) inspection to maintain cleanliness and clear pathways
- Inspect the cleanliness of the S&R interior and exterior docks
- Inspect the cleanliness of the main parking lots and exterior perimeter
- Assist Production with cleaning during the Line Clearance activities
- Assist Production with properly hanging and storing the sanitation equipment
· Assist the Production team with the line sanitation during available line downtime
· Identify areas in need of repair and submit work orders via E-Maint
· Assist the Housekeeping team as needed
· Any other tasks requested by management.

The individual needs to have a willingness to follow direction and problem solve to generate suggestions for improving the work environment. The individual must have a high school diploma or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
