Our Opportunity: Ingredient Inventory Analyst Lead
Status: Full Time Day Shift
Hours: 8-hour shift - 8a-4p
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation: $23.00 - $24.50 per hour depending on experience
Position Summary: Through Ingredient Control Management, this position is in charge of all Ingredient Inventory Analyst processes during their shift. This position is responsible for keeping Ingredient Control Management, and other departmental management, informed of the above processes in addition to being the liaison between the company and customer. This position is also responsible for documentation, oversight, and control of ingredient inventory in the facility for both our Customers and the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Being sensitive to Confidentiality Agreements, works as liaison between the Company and Customer/s.
- Responsible for kitting preparation.
- Printing/verifying batch sheets against production schedule/ERP system.
- Performing ERP pre-kitting functions.
- Verifying ingredient availability for upcoming runs.
- Monitoring activities in area of responsibility at all times during shift.
- Trains and leads, as well as communicates effectively with all co-workers.
- Responsible for evaluating and making suggestions for the continuous improvement of processes in area of responsibility.
- Must learn and apply new processes and procedures in area of responsibility.
- Coordinates and performs regular inventory counts as required by Management per Customer.
- Verifies clerical computations against physical counts of ingredients, adjusts errors in computation and/or count, and investigates/reports reasons for discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in moving and storing ingredients as needed.
- Assist in staging and preparation of documentation for outbound ingredients and/or products.
- Coordinates Customer spoilage reports, along with working with Customers on sending and receiving information based on any spoilage report discrepancies that may be found.
- Coordinates month ending physical and digital inventories, along with working with Customers on sending and receiving information based on those month ending inventories.
- Works with customers on ingredient dispositions (extensions/destructions).
- Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
- Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ warehouse/forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
- Minor math skills are required.
- Extended standing on hard surfaces.
- Regular bending, stooping and lifting up to 60lbs.
- May be required to work in small spaces.
- Knowledgeable understanding of inventory control systems.
- Knowledge of working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals.
- Works in a warehouse environment with dust and variable temperatures; including the operation of forklifts and computer usage.
- Position must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitors.
Job Setting
This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.
Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.
The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.

Physical Requirements
- Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Lift and/or move up to 60 pounds frequently
- Extended standing on hard surfaces.
- Vision required: distance, close, color, peripheral and depth perception
- Frequently required to stand, talk or hear, use hands to finger, feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Occasionally exposed to working on elevated platforms, confined spaces, with fumes or airborne particles and/or toxic/caustic chemicals, and his pressure steam.
- Frequently exposed to working near mechanical parts and exposed to vibration.
